Christian Bale Was Defending His Wife!
More details have surfaced in the Christian Bale ?assault? case.
If you haven?t heard yet, Bale went to a London police station yesterday for questioning in an assault case. It was first rumored that Bale had physically assaulted his mother and sister, but those rumors were quickly cleared up, and new stories emerged claiming that Bale was guilty of verbal assault.
Now we may have the reason. According to the UK’s Daily Mail, Bale ?flew off the handle? after his mother insulted his wife. A source tells the publication:
Christian’s attitude is that this was his mother’s fault because she became very provocative in an argument they were having.
Normally Christian would just call a friend and go out to a pub to cool off. But he was literally trapped into this confrontation with his mother and sister because there was an army of fans and paparazzi outside.”
The Daily Mail goes on to say that Bale has been depressed about the loss of Heath Ledger, and the massive popularity of The Dark Knight has only made things worse.
It?s good to know that the original rumors in this case were false. I live my life by only two standards, and those are:
1) Never hit a woman.
2) Batman can do whatever he wants.
Yesterday my beliefs were truly put to the test when these two principles collided. I thought I was going to have to re-examine all that I once held sacred. Now that the rumors are false, I can rest easy. It?s good to know that in this crazy mixed-up world of ours, I can still believe in something. Godspeed, Christian Bale. Oh, and good luck at this year?s Christmas dinner. That should be fun.
