Beyonce Knowles was the guest of honor at the Diamond Ball and private concert benefiting the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation on Saturday.
Wulf was recognized for her charity work and inducted into the center’s Hall of Fame.
Tables at the event reportedly went for $11,000!

But for a good cause!
Beyonce took the stage at the even alongside a seven-year-old piano prodigy named Ethan Bortnick, who performed to show his appreciation for the hospital treating his younger brother’s heart problems.

Was it the Miami trip that kept her from Jay-Z’s UN awards ceremony?
Note, Jay-Z was NOT spotted at the Miami benefit.

The Queen of Miami will also be honored at the Latin Grammy’s next month as their “Person of the Year.”

Wanna Beat The Crap Out Of Michael Lohan??
As we mentioned last month, media-loving Michael Lohan said he was looking for a celebrity to fight against him in the boxing ring to raise more money for “numerous charities.”
And guess who was at the top of his list to fight against?
Perez, of course!
Since we didn’t pay any serious attention to the request, dad of the year is looking for other potential candidates.
So what’s Lohan doing?
He’s going to offer himself up in an auction!
The largest bidder will get a chance to knock out Lohan in a celebrity boxing match.
A recent statement says Lohan will put “himself on auction to highest bidder to box three rounds in the annual Long Island Fight For Charity.”
The fight will take place on November 24, 2008 and will consist of 10 boxing matches with amateur fighters.
Bids to fight Poppa Lohan will start at $5,000! Though there are certain rules against height and weight. Guess they don’t want Lohan getting killed in the ring.
Lohan had also challenged K-Fed to the ring but couldn’t take it any further as there was no funding source for the fight.
Each of the 10 contestants needs to raise over $5,000 in sponsorships.
We wonder how much money someone will pay to knock out Lohan?
Lindsay Lohan’s girlfriend should bid.

Looks like we were duped again.
Forget Courtney Love’s claims that an Oprah inspired diet regimen and hypnosis helped her lose weight!
A friend tells the UK’s News of the World that Courtney Love went under the knife to melt the pounds.
How very Star Jones of her!
The ‘friend’ says:
“Courtney has always had problems with her appearance and is convinced she is ugly and fat. Two years ago she had a gastric band fitted at a surgery in Beverly Hills. Lots of doctors refused to do it as she was nowhere near obese, just a little overweight, but eventually she found one. And as soon as she had the operation the excess weight started to drop off her. Now she is just skin and bones and looks terrible.”
The ‘friend’ also added that the rocker ‘laughs’ at us all who’ve believed her diet lies.

An Epic Evening
We decided to throw an impromptu house party on Saturday night - thanks Eric! - for no special occasion.
It wasn’t anyone’s birthday. We were just in town, we knew that a bunch of our friends were in town and since it’s rare for so many of us to all be here at the same time, we thought it was the perfect opportunity for a party.
No expectations. No RSVPS.
And we honestly had the best time ever!
Some of our favoritest people in the world showed up, some you don’t know and some you might - like Katy Perry, Mika, Josh Groban, Lady Gaga, Amanda Bynes, Emmy Rossum, Michelle Trachtenberg and Diane Warren.
We’d like to apologize to everyone for their hangover, but it sure was worth it!

Shia Got Dogged - Drunkst BOMBS!
Disney’s chihuahuas knocked Shia from the top movie perch over the weekend.
Beverly Hills Chihuahuais this weekend’s #1 movie in the U.S. Early reports say that the family crews helped the film bring in $29 million.
For such a stupid movie!
The Shia LaBeouf-starring movie Eagle Eye came in at #2 in its second week out. It made about $18 million.
Rounding out the top three is the Michael Cera hipster, teen, rom-com flick Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist with $11.6 million in ticket sales.
Congrats cute little doggies!
And lets hope Kirsten Drunst doesn’t turn back to whatever sent her to rehab. Her new film, How To Alienate Friends Or Whatever That Title Is, opened in wide release this weekend and played to pretty much empty theaters.
Drunkst’s movie made a paltry $1.4 million!!!

Janet Cancels Even MORE Shows!
If you were planning on seeing Janet Jackson in concert any time soon, you’re fucked!
The singer’s mystery “illness” remains, forcing her to postpone several additional shows.
After canceling her North Carolina concert at the last minute on Saturday night, Janet has also cancelled her concert tonight, Sunday, in Atlanta, and a Monday show in Ft. Lauderdale.
They will be rescheduled for a later date.
According to some chatter, Jackson may be suffering from vertigo, though that has not been officially confirmed.
